Minister Wat was instrumental in the launch of B.C.?s first-ever live Cantonese\, Mandarin and Punjabi daily television news programs. \n\n\n\nIn 2013\, Teresa received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award for her community service work. In 2010\, she was appointed to the Canadian Women Voters Congress Advisory Board and was recognized as one of B.C.'s top 100 most influential women by the Vancouver Sun.
