DESCRIPTION:Join the Burnaby Board of Trade and the Women's Business Success Network for this year's Women Mean Business.  The theme of this year's event is ADVANCE!\n\n\n\nThis event is a unique opportunity to build new relationships with fellow professionals and participate in discussion on how we can best advance women in today's business community.\n\n \n\nThis year's Women in Business will feature a lively networking reception\, engaging conversation over a delicious lunch\, and an interactive panel discussion with a diverse group of women leaders\, all set against a beautiful view of Burnaby from the Element Metrotown Hotel. \n\nThis event is an initiative of the BBOT's Women's Business Success Network\, a group of women and men interested in supporting and promoting women in all levels of business. She was the first woman to serve as Chief of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation. Co-Chair of the First Nations Summit\, a Director on the Land Advisory Board and an appointed member of the First Nations Health Council.\n\n \n\n \n\n\n\nChief Superintendent Deanne Burleigh joined the RCMP in 1985 and since then has risen through various detachments and departments until becoming Chief Superintendent and the Officer in Charge (OIC) of Burnaby Municipal Detachment in 2017\, Canada's second-largest RCMP detachment\, and one of the force's most senior ranking female members.\n\n\n\n\n\nModerator: \n\n\n\nCathy Kuzel - The Connected Woman\n\n\n\nCathy Kuzel has been networking and building successful business relationships for more than 30 years as a speaker\, author and business strategist.
