About our Panelists:

Scott Edmonds, Webtech Wireless

Mr. Edmonds has more than 25 years' of experience in international business leadership and management. Prior to joining Webtech Wireless, Mr. Edmonds held senior executive roles with two different Vancouver based technology companies, having moved to Vancouver from Singapore after having spent nine years with the Walt Disney Company in a variety of senior financial and management roles in both Europe and Asia. Mr. Edmonds earned his Chartered Accountant designation while with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in Toronto, holds a B.B.A. (Honours) in Finance from Bishop's University and has completed the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Mr. Edmonds is also a member of the board of directors of the British Columbia Technology Industry Association and active with a number of community and not-for-profit activities in his adopted home of Vancouver.

Mark Schnarr, Alpha Technologies

Mark Schnarr is the President and CEO of Alpha Technologies Ltd., a leader in the design and manufacturing of power solutions for the global Telecom, Cable, Broadband, Traffic, Industrial and Renewable Energy sectors. Prior to that, Mark was Executive Vice President at TELUS, and President of TELUS Ventures.  He has held a variety of executive positions related to the creation and growth of new business ventures, marketing of products and services, management of international operations and introduction of emerging technologies.  He has been a board member with a number of organizations including TELUS International, Rapport Interactive, Science World, Vision Critical, IP Unity, Apparent Networks, Argus Technologies, ePost, Pacific Place Communications, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.  He is currently a Board member with Alpha Technologies, ATsa, Wolf Medical Systems and Northern Vertex.
