2018 - Business Dialogue: Attracting and Retaining Talent During a Labour Shortage

In the Burnaby Board of Trade's most recent Business Walk survey, 50% of businesses said hiring and retaining staff is a challenge.

On February 1, if you are a business owner/manager with an employee base between 10 – 100, and you are struggling to attract and retain talent during BC’s labour shortage, please join us for this special event.
 
The dialogue will focus on how to develop a diverse and inclusive hiring strategy, that mitigates the issue of a labour shortage by opening up an organizations access to an untapped talent pool.
 
The topics being discussed include:
 
·         The successes you’ve seen in recruiting and retaining talent.
·         The challenges you face in recruiting and retaining talent.
·         Strategies to find, recruit and retain a diverse workforce.
·         Tips to creating conversations that lead to an inclusive workplace
