Thursday May 6, 2021
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM PDT
This event is presented as part of our Business Resiliency Programming, an initiative of The Centre for Burnaby Business Recovery and Resilience.
New powers have been granted to health officials to shut down businesses for 10 days when there is transmission in the workplace.
Join this session to hear directly from WorkSafeBC and the Burnaby Board of Trade on how businesses can operate safely during COVID-19, and thus minimize the chance of facing one of these closures.
This session will provide the latest guidance to businesses on updating their COVID-19 safety plans and ensuring daily worker checks are being done properly. It will also share best practices on workplace safety during the pandemic, and what to do if your business receives a 10-day closure order.
Avoid being shut down -- educate you and your team on staying open and operating safely during COVID-19.
