Description
Join the Burnaby Board of Trade for an informative webinar with Catalina Rodriguez of Forte Law. Catalina will cover the requirements that all employers in B.C. need to be aware of under the new Pay Transparency legislation, which came into force as of November 1st, 2023.
Beginning November 1st 2023, all employers in B.C. must include the expected pay or pay range for a specific job that they advertise publicly. This new legislation comes from a need to ensure all people are paid fairly, regardless of age, gender, or race. This legislation will help employers to address systemic discrimination in the workplace.
This webinar will detail what this new legislation means for employers in B.C., and how to go about implementing these updates.
